Primary, Slatersville premiere & Yoga at the Barn: Five things to know in North Smithfield this week – NRI NOW

Primary
The statewide primary will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 13 from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., and residents can find their polling location and view a sample ballot here or by calling the North Smithfield Board of Canvassers at (401) 767-2200 ext. 504.
There will be no primary this year for Town Council and School Committee races, but voters in both political parties do have choices for statewide races. North Smithfield residents located in District 49 will have the chance to weigh in on a Democratic primary between Alexander Kithes of Woonsocket and Glenn Dusablon of North Smithfield, and Senate District 24 has a Republican primary between David Slavin and Craig Lacouture.
